At La
Frontera Center, Inc., staff members are committed to creating
opportunities for change. In other words, every person who walks in and seeks
help at La Frontera has the potential for a life-changing experience.
While the needs of the community in the
areas of mental health and substance abuse increase every day,
many of
La Frontera's programs operate at capacity and some keep waiting
lists.
If you would like to assist La Frontera in
creating more opportunities for more people, please make a generous
contribution today. When you write your check, please consider the
following facts:

$73 provides two hours of supported
employment for
a person with a serious mental illness.

$130 provides one hour of individual
therapy

$228 provides one psychiatric evaluation

$725 provides one day of hospitalization
for one person

Child/Family
Center Fund
The Dr. Nelba Chavez
Child/Family Center is dedicated to providing high-quality,
comprehensive therapeutic services to young children and their
families. The center specializes in serving children who have severe
emotional and behavioral disorders, teaching them how to function at
the highest possible level in a mainstream setting.
Staff at the center provide a variety of
services, including individual and family therapy, therapeutic preschool, day care for children enrolled in the therapeutic preschool, summer
program for children with developmental delays, and weekly groups for parents and caregivers of children.
To ensure that services continue to be
available to future generations of children, La Frontera Center has
established a fund to benefit the Child/Family Center. If you wish to
make a contribution to the fund, please follow the instructions for
making a donation, and specify that your contribution is for the CFC
Fund.
