An Integrated
Dual Recovery Program
The ADMIRE Plus program is funded by the
Arizona Department of Health Services, Division of Behavioral Health
Services, via the Community Partnership of Southern Arizona, and by La
Frontera Center, Inc. Research/evaluation is funded by a grant from the
Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). The program provides an opportunity for dually
diagnosed clients (persons with both a serious mental illness and a
substance abuse problem) to learn how to effectively cope with and manage
psychiatric symptoms while also reducing the frequency and severity of
substance abuse, leading to abstinence.
Mission Statement
ADMIRE Plus is an integrated, intensive program for persons with
co-occurring mental and substance disorders. ADMIRE Plus promotes a health
and wellness vision of one's life through a program of recovery from mental
illness and alcohol/drug abuse. ADMIRE Plus provides an opportunity for
one to learn how to effectively copy and manage symptoms and cravings by
providing a multifaceted collaborative treatment approach. ADMIRE Plus is
client centered and designed to draw upon clients' personal strengths and assist
them in actualizing their goals.
